Ketamine Clinic of Hawaii is a specialty clinic for patients who seek relief from pain, depression, and PTSD when traditional treatments have been ineffective. We are not a traditional pain clinic nor do we take the approach of traditional pain clinics or physicians. Most of our patients have already tried conventional approaches and have become frustrated by the lack of results. For patients continuing to look for relief where other other methods have failed them, we offer the option of Ketamine as well as a wide range of alternatives in various natural pain relief techniques.
We do not prescribe any narcotics or opioids on a regular basis. In fact, in come cases, reliance on such medications has been the very cause of the problems for which patients come seeking our help. Our approach to long term pain treatment draws upon the use of more natural pain-relieving interventions, although we do use Ketamine for many patients with Chronic Persistent Pain Syndrome (CPPS) and various other pain syndromes resistant to pain medication.
We accept referrals from many doctors involved in Pain Management and Psychiatry, as well as from health care practitioners specializing in other areas of medicine. We also welcome patients who want to explore treatment with Ketamine independently but such cases may require an initial evaluation by our psychologist or other consultants as necessary before beginning treatment.
